Roof Estimator Terms

The CityStar Roof Estimator is a free tool for preliminary roofing enquiries. By using it, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and the Google Maps / Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.

Preliminary pricing

The displayed CityStar rate is $5.99 per square foot, in CAD for Canadian properties and USD for US properties. Currency is determined from the property’s country; this is not a currency conversion. The preliminary amount is the available measured roof surface area multiplied by this rate, rounded to the nearest cent. Taxes, waste allowance, repairs, disposal, material selection, and other project extras are not assessed by this calculation. This tool does not form a roofing contract or guarantee a final price. CityStar confirms suitability, scope, availability, and final pricing after inspection.

Measurements and imagery

Measurements depend on available Google imagery, which may be older than current site conditions. Roof outlines and horizontal edge dimensions are approximate. A high imagery quality rating does not guarantee measurement accuracy. Check that the pictured building is correct before requesting a quote. Roof material and condition require inspection. Empty land, new construction, adjoining roofs, tree cover, and unsupported locations may require manual assessment.

Customer accounts and requests

Provide an email address you control and accurate contact information. Verification codes allow you to create or access your account. Requesting an inspection asks CityStar to contact you; it does not reserve an appointment. Do not use the tool to send unsolicited messages, access another person’s account, or make automated bulk requests.
